Rana Fadavi is a Paris born Iranian set and production designer and award winning artist. She is based in both London and Paris.

She completed an MA in scenography before working at Issey Miyake fashion house in Paris and moved to London in 2018. She has since been working as a set and production designer across film, fashion and commercials.

Drawing being one of the most important parts of her practice, she joined the Royal Drawing School in 2021 for a 1 year full scholarship postgraduate-level course. 

She is the recipient of the Chairman Prize 2023 (Charles Saumarez Smith CBE, former director of The National Gallery), for ‘excellence in drawing’.

She recently worked with Oscar shortlisted and BAFTA nominated director Elham Ehsas on his latest film ‘There Will Come Soft Rains’, currently in Post-production.
